The photo was taken in one of the biggest rallies in Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square this year, protesting against the current government of Israel. The context is quite hard to explain for anybody who isn’t Israeli
It was taken with a point-and-click camera and took ~20 attempts to get right - there were about 150,000 people moving around
